Sapphire™ MDT

The Sapphire™ Micro Drop Terminal (MDT) is an indoor/outdoor fiber enclosure, designed for last-mile FTTH connections. Smaller than other products with similar functionality and capacity, the MDT supports a wide range of applications for pass-through, direct splicing, pre-terminated, splitting, and other custom options. Designed to exceed IP-67 requirements, the Sapphire MDT provides reliable protection and its mechanical sealing allows quick and easy servicing and re-entry for adding new subscribers.

Sapphire™ Dome Closures

The Sapphire™ Dome Splice Closures (in two sizes) are designed to provide reliable and long-lasting protection for optical fibers and splices, combined with maximum ease of installation and maintenance. All cable ports are sealed using a wide range of cold gel sealing inserts, or conventional heat shrink sealing sets. The flexible port configuration and wide range of gel sealing gaskets allow the Sapphire dome closures to serve as both distribution and customer connection drop closures.
